I'm not sure if these two facts are related, but both the analogue clock and the lights on the AirCon/heater control unit have stopped working. Possibly the clock started becoming erratic shortly before both failed.

The clock is the oval one that sits above the dashboard, and neither the clock or its lights work. However, I tried it in my son's Ka, which has the same connector for the clock, and it was fine. The Ka's clock didn't work in the Galaxy.

The AC/heater control unit is the one with temperature, fan speed, and direction knobs, plus AC, recirc, and hrw buttons. Everything seems to work fine except the lights in this unit.

Everything else on the Galaxy seems to work fine, and I have tested all the fuses in the central fuse box under the dashboard. I looked in the engine compartment in front of the battery and could only see 3 fuses in the box there - they were all fine too.

Does anyone have any ideas about what the problem is (or what the problems are)?

Thanks in advance.

Definitely sounds like a fuse problem .......or possibly dimmer switch ?

Maybe F32

Thanks for the suggestions but I tested all fuses up-to 62 and are OK. Other instrument lights are OK, so I don't think its the dimmer - I don't think that would affect the clock working anyway.

Is there another fuse somewhere? The owner's guide mentions a fuse box in the engine compartment. I could only see one box in front of the battery, and it only had 3 fuses in it - all of which were OK.
